     PAYMENT for books ordered can be made as follows:

  1. Refund, when the parcel is collected from the courier or post office

  2. Card banking. Security for online card payments is provided by PayU, Romania's leading online payment integrator. Debit/credit cards are accepted as payment instruments: Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Maestro, JCB, DinnersClub and educational, cultural, gift or teaching premium cards issued by Edenred, Sodexo, Up Romania. In addition to the standard security tools (3D Secure, daily scanning and security certificates), PayU customers benefit from the protection offered by PayU's proprietary anti-fraud system and PCI DSS Level 1, the highest security standard worldwide.

     Bank card payment steps:

  1. Fill in the data requested in the form on the payment page, including card details. PayU transmits this data, encrypted, to Romcard (payment gateway), the only institution that can communicate card-related information (such as verifying the existence of the amount in the buyer's bank account) with Visa/MasterCard systems;

  2. The amount of the transaction is blocked in the buyer's account (not debited) and you receive a notification;

  3. If you have activated your card in 3D Secure, a window will appear asking for your password (this information is also managed by the gateway together with the card-issuing bank);

  4. Afterwards, the transaction is returned to PayU where it goes into anti-fraud. In other words, PayU ensures that the transaction is not fraudulent, that the card or the data on the card has not been stolen, that the cardholder or a person authorised by the cardholder initiated the transaction;

  5. Next, the shop is automatically notified that payment has been made;

  6. In the last step, the shop confirms the delivery and the amount is debited from your account.
